COVID-19 Impacts on Levies

Due to the ongoing financial impacts of COVID-19, many people are struggling to ensure they have enough money in their budget. The Committee understands this and has voted to freeze Levies for the next financial year.

Tree Safety Assesment

Recently, an unsafe tree was removed from the Village. This has prompted a discussion and it has been decided that an assessment will be done on trees on community land. This will ensure that the Village remains safe for everyone to use.

Pool Due for Completion

Barring any large amounts of rainfall, the pool should be completed within the next 2 weeks. Once the pool reopens, please remember to be COVID-Safe and maintain a physical distance of at least 2 square meters from anyone else using the pool.

Security Cameras

Due to ongoing vandalism, the Committee is looking into security cameras for the Community Centre to ensure the facilities remain neat, tidy and secure.

AGM Information

The AGM is just around the corner, it will be held on Tuesday 24th November at 6:00pm. Due to COVID-19 it has been asked that only 1 person per household attends. You will also be asked to RSVP to an email sent by the Body Corporate Manager (Omar Ramsden).

Weather Information

Over the coming months, we hope to add weather information from a weather station in the Village. This will allow you to view current and historical weather conditions.

History of Uriarra page

A 'History of Uriarra' page will be developed to highlight the rich history that our Village and region has.

Significant Rainfall and Severe Thunderstorms possible

This coming weekend (24-25/10), a cold front will pass over the Eastern Coast of Australia, bringing with it the risk of Heavy Rainfall and Severe Thunderstorms for our region. The day with the highest risk is Saturday 24th October with up to 50mm forecast, with heavier falls possible in thunderstorms.
